I am a sculptor based in Oregon. As an artist I try to maintain an emphasis on natural materials and mediums. My works are not only for exhibition, but also functional pieces for corporate awareness campaigns and best of all used in local fairs.

This allows the works to come to life through their interactive kinetic nature. The art is tangible and fully interactive which allows a “hands on experience”.
Installations always focus on interaction factor. The reward of seeing my art being used not only for decoration is truly satisfying.

I have designed and built kindergarten play zones for the local fairs. 
Fun and games for the fairs like chess on a Grand scale and a life size rocking horse.

Seeing 10 people riding the horse at once, rocking together, loving the natural motion that comes from displacing the cradle rockers was pure delight.

I love scale factors, so building large scale sculptures allows pieces to defy reality and the craftiness of varied construction allows use of recycled materials. Other large structures at the local fairs such as shaded canopies created an entrance to the Country Fair Sauna in Veneta, Oregon.

The Raven featured on the site took me and some friends 8 months to construct, its made to last some years. Built with hand forged steel, from car parts, welded together and shaped into a beak, claws and legs. Most of the body is made of cedar and stained for effect.

My varied weaving skills allow me to form weaved sculptures to baskets, to designer baby cribs, oversized baskets for storage and decorating your home.

These pieces are for all to see and enjoy. To all those artists out there I am eager to hear from you and hear of your projects. Possibly offer assistance in construction, design, assembly or even just some general tool advice.
